The nominee for US Ambassador to Türkiye, @TomBarrackJr, will appear before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee today, after a schedule change that was “decided late last night with a sense of urgency,” as reported by @LenaArgiri.

@TomBarrackJr stated that Türkiye has the potential to be “a new spice road,” and aims at increasing bilateral trade from ~$40 billion to @POTUS’ goal of $100 billion.
